Exploratory trip with Dan and Steffani to look for kiyak testing runs on the Beishixi 北勢溪 just north of Pinglin 坪林, very early on a Thursday morning, 5/11. The expressway through the Xueshan mountains 雪山 should be open next month. Four thousand cars per day are allowed to get off at the Pinglin interchange.
